UPDATE 1:45p.m. - The fire has burned 15 acres. The forward rate of spread has been stopped. Fire resources will remain on scene for several hours completing containment around the fire.

CAL FIRE / Riverside County Firefighters are on scene of a wildland fire in San Timoteo Canyon, north of Moreno Valley. The fire is currently 25 acres burning at a slow to moderate rate. Approximately 200 firefighters are on scene in inaccessible terrain. Updates will be posted as information becomes available.
