7/20/23 Morning Update The fire remains 4378 acres and is now 98% contained.

7/15/23 UPDATE 8 p.m. The fire is 437 acres and 50% contained. The evacuation warning and road closures have been lifted. Please use caution in the area as we still have several firefighters mopping up hot spots.

07/15/23 7:00 AM UPDATE The fire remains 437 acres and is 30% contained. Evacuation warnings remain in place.

UPDATE 8:00 PM - All evacuation ORDER areas have been downgraded to evacuation warnings. All other evacuation areas remain the same.

EVACUATION ORDER: South of Reche Canyon Road, West of Locust/Trust, North of Alta Vista and East of Reche Vista Drive/ Perris Blvd.

Evacuation Warning: North of Ironwood, East of Perris Blvd, South of Alta Vista, West of Moreno Beach.

A Care & Reception Center is being established at Valley View High School, 13135 Nason Street, Moreno Valley 92555.

7/18/23 UPDATE 8:00 PM: The fire is 437 acres and 95% contained.

7/18/23 UPDATE 8:00 AM: The fire is 437 acres and 90% contained.

7/17/23 UPDATE 8:00 PM: The fire remains 437 acres and is 90% contained.

7/17/23 UPDATE 7:00 AM: The remains 437 acres and is 85% contained.

7/16/23 UPDATE 9:00 PM: The fire remains 437 acres and is 80% contained. There are no road closures or evacuations in the area.

7/15/23 UPDATE 3:15 PM: Additional road closures are in place at Reche Vista X Heacock to the south, Reche Vista X Reche Canyon to the north. Please avoid the area as fire resources continue working in the area.

7/14/23 UPDATE 8:00 PM: - The fire is 437 acres, 5% contained. The evacuation ORDER area has been downgraded to a warning. All other evacuations warnings remain in place. Reche Canyon Rd. is closed between Reche Vista and Locust Ave.

7/14/23 UPDATE 4:50 PM: - The fire is currently 385 acres and 0% contained. All evacuations and orders remain in place.

7/14/23 UPDATE 2:50 PM The fire is 160 acres. Additional air resources have been requested to the scene.

The fire is currently 50 acres of flashy fuels, burning at a moderate to rapid rate of spread.
