[UPDATE 7/8 8:00 a.m.] The forward rate of spread was stopped at 11:10 p.m. and the fire is 50% contained. Crews are actively working on strengthening containment lines and conducting thorough mop-up operations.
[UPDATE 7/7 9:30 p.m.] Firefighters continue to establish and strengthen containment lines. The fire is currently at 45 acres. No injuries or evacuations.
VEGETATION FIRE - rpt @ 7:52 p.m. Pyrite St./Granite Hill Dr. in Jurupa Valley. Firefighters are on-scene of approximately 15 acres burning in light flashy fuels. Additional resources responding. San Bernardino County Fire is assisting.
