09/05/24 7 p.m.: The fire is now 100% contained at 264 acres. Crews made great progress with containment lines throughout the day and contained the fire 100%.
09/05/2024 AFTERNOON UPDATE 1 p.m.: All evacuation warnings in the area have been lifted, and all roadways are now open. The fire is 80% contained and firefighters continue their work at constructing line around the fire.
09/05/24 MORNING UPDATE: Firefighters made good progress overnight, gaining containment on the fire line. Their work will continue today, contending with heavy mop-up in brush and high temperatures forecast.
