FINAL UPDATE 7:15 PM 6/29 The fire is now 100% contained and the evacuation warning has been lifted.

UPDATE 6:45 PM 6/28The fire has been mapped at 68 acres and is now 90% contained. The evacuation warning remains in place. The next update will be tomorrow morning (6/29/23).

UPDATE 1:30 p.m. 6/28 The fire is currently 55 acres and 60% contained.

The Evacuation Order for the Juniper Fire has been reduced to an Evacuation Warning. The Evacuation Warning and road closures in the area have also been lifted. Please use caution when returning to the area as fire resources continue working to strengthen containment lines.

UPDATE 9:30 AM 6/28The fire remains 55 acres and 5% contained. Firefighters are on scene performing mop up and the evacuation order and warning for the immediate area are still in place. Please avoid the area.

UPDATE 5:30 PM Fire is 55 acres, 5% contained and forward rate of spread has stopped. Damage inspections for damaged or destroyed structures are ongoing, and evacuations remain in place.

UPDATE 4:00 PM Fire is 50 acres, 0% contained. All evacuations remain in place.
