06/26/25 UPDATE @ 6PM The fire was declared 100% contained and all resources have been released.

UPDATE @ 7:15PM The fires remain at 20.6 acres and is now 50% contained. Crews will remain on scene throughout the night improving containment lines. All road closures have been lifted. The fire will be turned over to the Bureau of Land Management at 10:30 PM. This will be the last update unless significant activity occurs.

UPDATE @ 6:00PM The total acreage for both fires is now 20.6 acres and 20% contained. The forward rate of spread has been stopped on both branches of the fire. Crews continue to make good progress around the fire with both progressive hose lays and handlines. Road closures remain in place.

UPDATE @ 4:15PM The forward rate of spread on the 2 acre fire has been stopped. The second fire is 15 acres. There is zero percent containment.

Firefighters are on-scene of two vegetation fires burning in close proximity to each other. One fire is 10 acres, burning at a moderate rate of spread, and the second fire is 2 acres, also burning at a moderate rate of spread. Additional air resources have been requested.
