3:30 p.m. Evacuation ORDER has been initiated for zone RVC-0968; North of Farley Avenue, South of Cajalco Road, East of Verdino Circle and Cajalco Road, and west of Cajalco Road.

Evacuation WARNINGS have been initiated for zones RVC-1054, RVC-1055, and RVC-0969; North of Dawson Canyon Road, east of Dawson Canyon and Foster Road, South of Cajalco Road and Dawson Canyon Road, and West of Lake Mathews Drive.

A care and reception site has been established at Santiago High School: 1395 E. Foothill Parkway, Corona. Animals can be taken to the Riverside County Animal Shelter: 6851 Van Buren Boulevard, Jurupa Valley

7:51 p.m. [UPDATE] The evacuation WARNINGS for the Terramor Community have been released. This encompasses zones RVC-1162, RVC-1163, RVC-1164, RVC-1165, RVC-1166, RVC-1167, RVC-1264 AND RVC-1268.

9:16 p.m. [UPDATE] ALL evacuation ORDERS have been downgraded to WARNINGS. Please use caution in the area, as firefighters are in the area working to strengthen containment.

7/22/24 [UPDATE] 8:00 a.m. The evacuation WARNINGS remain in place.

7/22/24 [UPDATE] 11:00 a.m. The evacuation WARNINGS have been lifted.

07/22 [UPDATE] 5:00P.M. The fire is 98% contained at 1,609 acres. Fire resources will continue suppression repairs and patrol throughout the next several days to ensure there are no hot spots inside the fire perimeter.

Current Situation

CAL FIRE/Riverside County firefighters responded to reports of a vegetation fire at Cajalco Road X Eagle Canyon Road, east of Corona. The first arriving engine company reported five acres burning at a rapid rate. The fire is currently 100 acres and 0% contained. Multiple air and ground resources assigned. Updates will be posted as information becomes available.

[UPDATE] 3:30 p.m. The fire is 321 acres and 0% contained. Evacuation ORDER has been initiated for zone RVC-0968; North of Farley Avenue, South of Cajalco Road, East of Verdino Circle and Cajalco Road, and west of Cajalco Road.

Evacuation WARNINGS have been initiated for zones RVC-1054, RVC-1055, and RVC-0969; North of Dawson Canyon Road, east of Dawson Canyon and Foster Road, South of Cajalco Road and Dawson Canyon Road, and West of Lake Mathews Drive.

9:16 p.m. [UPDATE] ALL evacuation ORDERS have been downgraded to WARNINGS. Please use caution in the area, as firefighters are in the area working to strengthen containment. The fire is 500 acres and 25% contained.

7/22/24 [UPDATE] 8:00 a.m. An overnight Intel flight mapped the fire at 1,609 acres. The fire is 50% contained and the evacuation WARNINGS remain in place.

7/22/24 [UPDATE] 11:00 a.m. The fire remains 1,609 acres and is now 65% contained. The evacuation warnings have been lifted and Cajalco Road is reopened. Please use caution in the area while firefighters work to fully contain the fire.
