**FINAL UPDATE 12/01/24 7 P.M. ** The fire is 254 acres and 100% contained.

UPDATE 12/01/24 8 A.M. The fire remains 254 acres and 95% contained.

UPDATE 11/30/24 8 P.M. The fire mapping has ben updated to 254 acres and is now 95% contained.

UPDATE 11/30/24 8 A.M. The fire has been mapped at 284 acres and is 50% contained.

**UPDATE 11/29/24 ** The fire is mapped at 254 acres and is 15% contained. Firefighters will remain on-scene throughout the night to continue to strengthen containment lines and perform mop up. The next update will be tomorrow morning after 8 a.m. unless significant fire activity occurs.

UPDATE 11/29/24 12 P.M. The fire is now mapped at 254 acres and the containment is at 15%. All evacuation warnings have been lifted in Jurupa Valley, and the care and reception center has now closed. The next update will be after 7 p.m. unless significant fire activity occurs.

UPDATE 11/29/24 7 A.M. The fire is now mapped at 250 acres, 0% contained. A large augmentation of fire engines, crews, bulldozers and night flying-water dropping helicopters assisted in the suppression of the fire yesterday. Resources worked on containment throughout the night in challenging terrain with light flashy fuels and east blowing winds.

San Bernardino County Fire Department was in command during the beginning of the Canyon Crest Fire. As the fire progressed Riverside County Fire went into unified command with San Bernardino County Fire Department. Riverside County Fire Department is now in command as the fire has now moved south into the county. The fire is currently reported at 85 acres and is 0% contained. Evacuation warnings remain in place for JUR-0015 and JUR-0016.
