Volunteer Reserve Mobile Emergency Operations Center (MEOC)
The Volunteer Reserve MEOC position comprises a volunteer organization of individuals who provide specialized mobile support for incidents to better serve the citizens of Riverside County. Volunteer Reserve MEOC Technicians assist the Riverside County Fire Department in a variety of emergency and non-emergency situations including but not limited to planned or unplanned response(s) as part of a Mobile Emergency Operations Center to department events and emergencies. Teamwork, personal investment, and self-sacrifice are the basis of the social framework of a Volunteer Reserve MEOC Technician. Volunteer Reserve MEOC Technicians also provide a variety of community services. This position requires each individual member to perform a variety of duties and may include responding to calls within the community as well as assisting other neighboring communities during mutual aid responses. In addition, Volunteer Reserve MEOC Technicians may be required to perform other duties as assigned.

Completion of high school or equivalent
Valid California Driver’s License appropriate for the class of vehicle (may be a combination of Class “C” and full commercial Class “B” or Firefighter Endorsement
